Wilma Sue Frick of Herndon, Kansas age 76, passed away at the El Dorado Manor in Trenton, NE on February 2, 2016. She was born in Parkersburg, WV on July 31, 1939 to Eurshel T. and Nettie V. (Life) Powell. The family moved to Ohio, where Sue graduated from East Liverpool High School in 1957. She entered the US Air Force serving for 2 years. It was at March Air Force Base in Riverside, California where she met Roy Vernon Frick. The couple was united in marriage on June 5, 1959, celebrating their 56 anniversary this year. They had two daughters: Valerie and Vikki. The couple made their home in Wyoming, Montana, California and New Mexico before retiring in 2007 to live in Herndon, Kansas. Sue enjoyed crocheting, her pets camping at Navajo Lake and gambling. Sue was preceded in death by her Parents and a brother Milton Powell. She is survived by her husband: Roy Vernon Frick of Herndon, KS; Daughters: Valerie and husband Tim Maas of Potter, NE; Vikki and husband Pat Schmalz of Dickenson, ND; 5 grandchildren: Terry and Britni Schmalz; Tyler and Amber Schmalz; Shane Maas, Chelsie (Maas) and husband Francisco Martinez; Luke and Lindsey Maas; 3 great grandchildren: brother: Henry T and wife Rose Powell of Missouri; sister: Patty and husband Scott Crawford of Run Away, TX and a host of extended family. Sues final request was to donate her body to medical science where she could continue to help others. A family service will take place at a future date. Memorial may be left in Sues name at the Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel in McCook. Friends may leave on-line condolences at herrmannfh.com
