Vivian Jeane Riley

Vivian Jeane Riley age 78 of McCook, passed away January 4, 2017 at the Tri-Valley Health System in Cambridge. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on June 14, 1938 to Melvin and Goldie (Koogler) Ernst. She attended school in Dayton before marrying Charles Riley in McCook, NE on October 29, 1956. Charles was in the U.S. Navy and the couple moved from state to state until they retired in McCook in 1976. Vivian loved to sew, crocheted, garden and camping. She also volunteered for many activities, but her favorite was meals on wheels. Vivian loved her pet dogs, they were her companions around the house. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a niece Tonya Salyer. She is survived by her husband Charles of McCook, daughter: Bonnie Zlomke of McCook, NE 2 sons: Bobbie and wife Jeri Riley of Orlando, FL; Christopher and wife Jan Riley of Indianola, NE; 3 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 3 sisters: Vera Hudspeth of St. Cloud, FL: Donna Flory of Lawrence, KS; Yvonne Allen of Sorrento, FL, along with many nieces and nephews.
