Tonda Y. Trump-Hiatt

Tonda Y. Trump-Hiatt, age 60, of Bartley, NE passed at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Monday, February 19, 2018.

She was born in Wichita, KS on May 31, 1957 to John and Rosanne (Sanders) Weaver. The family moved to Nebraska where Tonda attended Republican Valley Schools. On November 11, 1973, Tonda wed Lawrence Cunningham and to this union three children were born: Yavonda, Junior and Jason. She later married Duane Trump on May 19, 1983. He preceded her in death on August 31, 1997.

The family lived throughout the central United States including Illinois, Kansas, Nebraska and as far south to New Mexico due to Lawrence's employment. The family relocated back to Bartley, Nebraska to be close to family. Tonda was a good cook, working in many restaurants in the area including Medicine Creek Lodge, Frontier Caf, Town Talk and in recent years Casey's. Tonda enjoyed fishing, camping with her children and grandchildren. The Weaver siblings always put her in charge of the Weaver family reunions at the Harry Strunk Lake.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Duane; and nephews, Justin Weaver and Rick Fegley. Surviving Tonda are her daughter, Yavonda Jarrett and significant other, Travis Bennett, of Nehawka, NE; two sons, Junior and wife, Angela Cunningham, of Indianola, NE and Jason and wife, Sandy Cunningham, of Brookings, SD; five grandchildren; two sisters, Connie and husband, Ray Wilson, of Cedar Rapids, IA and Charlotte and husband, Gary Benson, of Valentine; five brothers, Charlie Weaver and significant other, Pat Birt, of North Platte, Johnny Weaver of Wilsonville, Richard and Deanna Weaver of Bartley, Kenneth Weaver of Cambridge and Bernard and wife, Kathy Weaver, of Garfield, KS; and special care giver, Connie Downey. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 10:00 am till 7:00 pm with the family present to receive friends from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm. Memorial services will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 10:30 am at the Lockenour-Jones Mortuary in Cambridge with Bill Weaver officiating. A private family inurnment will take place at a later time at the Bartley Cemetery.
