Terry Lynn Sitzman

Terry Lynn Sitzman passed away unexpectedly and peacefully at his home in McCook on April 7, 2014 at the age of 66. He was born on August 1, 1947 in McCook, NE to Carl and Ida Mae (Peters) Sitzman. He lived his entire life in McCook. On March 22, 1968 he married Marlys Steier of Hendon, KS. The couple just celebrated 46 years of marriage. To this union two sons were born: Tracy Lynn and Todd Matthew. In his younger days Terry played baseball. HE enjoyed softball, hunting, fishing, bowling and playing cards. His big enjoyment was watching his grandkids play ball. Terry planned several successful car shows with friend Bob Funk. He was a member of the MC Cruisers Car Club, Asphalt Angels. HE enjoyed going to car shows. Terry never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his parents his in-laws: Walter and Frieda Steier; brother-in-law Bill Harper. Terry is survived by his wife: Marlys; 2 sons Tracy and Todd and wife Melissa Sitzman all of McCook; grandchildren: Carlie, Teagan, Haylee, Kaden and Kamren; 2 sisters: Carolyn Harper of Wichita, KS; Linda and husband Jim Herbek of Princeton, KY; sister-in-law Marlene Wolfram of McCook, NE; nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at the Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel in McCook on Friday, April 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Mike Roth officiating. Interment will be in the Memorial M Park Cemetery. Memorials may be left in Terrys name at the Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel.
