Teresa Jean Carlin

Teresa J. Carlin age 65, of McCook, NE passed away at her home on February 29, 2016. She was born in Hildreth, NE on June 13, 1950 to Lester and Irene (Warnken) Hubert. Teresa went to school in Upland graduating from Upland High School in 1968. She attended Kearney State College for two years where she took Business and Finance classes. On July 14, 1968 she was united in marriage to Harold Carlin in the Lutheran Church. Due to Harold's employment with Safeway the couple lived in Beatrice, NE, Wenatchee, WA, and McCook. Teresa worked for several banks, Savings and Loan companies. In 1990 the couple settled in McCook, and bought Butler Beef Acres. Teresa loved to RV and travel to Colorado. She was an avid reader, collector of crystal dishes and spending quality time with family. She was preceded in death by her parents. Teresa is survived by her husband Harold of McCook, daughter: Brenda and husband Keith Miner of Graham, Washington; son: Scott and wife Shona of McCook, NE; 5 grandchildren: Clayton Warner; Zane Miner; Brody Miner; Casey Carlin and Dylan Carlin; sister: Becky and husband John Spencer of Grand Island, NE; brother: Myron and wife Ann Hubert of Minden, NE. Memorial services will be held at the Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel in McCook on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Brad Brauer officiating. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date. Memorials may be left in Teresas name at the Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel to the St. Jude Childrens Hospital. Memorial Service
