Susan Webster

Susan Ann Webster, age 58, of McCook, Nebraska died on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at the University of Nebraska Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska after a brief battle with cancer. Susan was born September 17, 1960 in Loveland, Colorado, the second child to Stanley and Marlene Webster. She attended school in Loveland, Colorado and Goodland, Kansas before graduating from Olivia High School in Olivia Minnesota in 1979 and attended Southwest State University in Marshall, Minnesota. Susan was an active member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in McCook where she was a song leader and would often sing at funeral masses. She has been a fixture at Farrells Hallmark for the past 15 years. She loved her job there and knew most customers by name. Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Frank and Lydia Webster of McCook, NE and Victor and Victoria Kashka of Goodland, KS; her father, Stanley Webster of McCook, NE; and her brother-in-law, Robert Frederick of Arvada, CO. Susan is survived by her mother, Marlene Webster of McCook; her five siblings: Cynthia Frederick of Arvada, CO; Gregory Webster (Jill) of Santa Maria, CA; Yvonne Sonnek (Steve) of St. Clair, MN; Jennifer Hillemeier (JR) of Byron, MN, Marc Webster (Dalette) of Alma, NE; and many nieces and nephews. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, June 14, 2019 at 7:00 PM at the Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 15 at 9:30 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Father Gary Brethour officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 AM till after rosary. Memorials may be addressed to St. Jude Hospital in lieu of flowers. Friends may leave on-line condolences at herrmannfh.com.
