Stephen Lee Cox

Stephen Lee Cox age 64 of Lexington, died on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. He was born on February 22, 1946 in Oberlin, KS to Alva and Darlene (Wyman) Cox. He was united in marriage to Jan Van Lengren, to this marriage 2 children were born Stephen and Susan. Steve worked for the box factory in Hastings , the city utilities of Hastings and various farmers through out the area. He was last employed by To Haas tire in Lexington. He was proceeded in death by his parents, infant daughter Susan. He is survived by his son Robert and wife Stephanie of Hastings; 1 sister: Elsie and husband Tom Heinen of Arapahoe, NE; 2 brothers: Roy and wife Kandra Kinne of Cambridge, NE; Ed and wife Gretchen of Grand Island, NE 3 grandchildren many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held on Monday, December 13, 2010, 2:00 Pm at the Lockenour-Jones Mortuary in Cambridge, NE. Inurnment will be in the FairviewCemetery in Cambridge. Conducting services will be Bill Weaver. Memorial may be left in his name at the mortuary.
