Stanley H. Anderson age66 of McCook, died at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, NE. He was born in Galveston, TX on October 10, 1947 to Darrell D. and Willie L. (McGee) Anderson. Stan moved to Pleasanton, Nebraska as an infant and was raised by his grandmother Grace Anderson. At age 16 he moved to Omaha and began doing odd jobs. In 1963 Stan met JanetPitloun, after dating for 3 years the couple married on November 5, 1966, in Papillion, Nebraska. The couple would have celebrated 48years of marriage this November. Stan was a truck driver. He hauled freight for Offutt Air Base in Omaha for 10 years. He moved to McCook in 1979 and worked for Cornbelt Chemical for 5 years, he then went to work for Crete Carrier Company for 24 years retiring in 2009. Stan loved to fish and camp and ride his motorcycle. He was preceded in death by parents: his grandmother; Grace Anderson and a daughter: Patsy Anderson: brother: Wayne. He is survived by his wife Janette of McCook, NE; daughter: Lynette and fianc Whanye Markel of Culbertson; 2 sons: Stan and fianc Julie Carfield; Rick fianc Lisa Stull all of McCook; 13 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at the McCook Baptist Church on Wednesday April 9, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ted Long officiating. Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery of McCook, NE. Memorials may be left in Stans name at the Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held on Monday April 7, 2014 from 2:00p.m. till 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel from 9:00a.m.till 7:00 p.m. Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel 607 Norris Ave. 345-3838 Stanley H.
