Scott G. Quigley, age 62 of Indianola, passed away at his home on November 23, 2013. He was born in McCook, NE on January 3, 1951 to Stanley G. and Mitty (Huggins). Scott grew up on the family farm near Indianola. He graduated from Red Willow High School in 1969. He attended and graduated from University of Nebraska in Lincoln 1974 with a Bachelors Degree in . He was a member of the ATO Fraternity. On October 28, 1972 he was united in Marriage to Kari Ellis at West Point, Nebraska. To this union three children were born: Sadi, Spencer and Sibyl. Scott returned to farming. He was a member of the St. Catherines Catholic Church, the McCook Elks Lodge and a member of the Indianola Rural Fire Board. He enjoyed hunting deer and coyote, auctions and EBAY. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. He is survived by his wife; Kari of Indianola; 2 daughters: Sadi and husband Sam Halloran of Omaha; Sibyl and husband Dustin Uerling of North Platte, NE; son Spencer and wife Courtney of Axtell, NE 4 grandchildren; Hunter; Hazie; Ruby and Solara; parents: Stanley and Mitty Quigley of Indianola; brother: Steve and Cindy of Indianola; sister: Jacquelyn Baker of Lincoln along with nieces and nephews. Rosary will be recited at the St. Catherines Catholic Church in Indianola on Monday, November 25, 2013 at 7:30 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, November 26, 2013 with Father Thomas McGuire officiating. Interment will be in the St. Catherins Cemetery in Indianola. Memorials may be left in Scotts name at the Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held on Monday until 6:00 PM at the Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel in McCook and at the Rosary in Indianola.
