Sandra June Lorimer

Sandra June Lorimer of McCook passed away December 14, 2017 at Kearney Regional Medical Center, Kearney, Nebraska. She was 72 years old. Sandra was born on June 18, 1945 at Fort Morgan, Colorado to parents, William Ike and Mary (Ribble) Shaver. She was united in marriage to Jack Lorimer in 1978 at Atwood, Kansas. Sandra was a busy homemaker and mother of four children. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and loved cats and dogs. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ike and Mary Shaver; daughter-in-law, Nancy Lorimer; sister, Nancy Shaver; brothers, Doug and Dave Shaver; and one grandchild. Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Jack Lorimer of McCook; daughters, Lisa and husband, Jessie Gomez, of Kearney and Victoria and husband, Scott Dixon, all of Kearney; son, Kenneth Lorimer of Kearney; sisters, Carol and husband, Royce Riley, of North Platte, Pat Shaver of Brush, CO, and Linda Flitzler of Brush, CO; brother, Bill Shaver and wife, Donna, of Brush; ten grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.
