Sandra Marie Van Dinter

Sandra Marie Van Dinter, 48, of Stratton, passed away with her loving family by her side on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Community Hospital in McCook. She was born in Lowell, Massachusetts on October 25, 1972 to Sandra "Sandy" Marie (Gotham) Berry. She attended school in Tyngsborough, Massachusetts. Sandra was united in marriage to Eugene Van Dinter in 1990 and they celebrated 31 years of marriage this year. Sandra and Gene made homes in Lowell, Massachusetts, Nashua, New Hampshire, and Brooksville, Florida before making Stratton, Nebraska home, 15 years ago. Sandra loved roller skating, horseback riding, jet skiing, and hiking. She really enjoyed being around others and loved off-roading and four wheeling with Gene. Sandra was happiest when surrounded by her family and took great pride in each of her children. Her proudest accomplishment was being a loving wife and mother. Sandra was preceded in death by her son, Scott William Van Dinter; mother, Sandy Berry; and her sister, Tammy Goyette. She is survived by her husband, Gene Van Dinter and Amber Van Dinter of Stratton; her children: Daniel Fontaine of Kearney, Nebraska; Eugene Jr. (Jelyne) Van Dinter and children: Jaden, Connor, Asher, and Fiona of Mankato, Kansas; Robert Van Dinter of Stratton; Ashley (Michael Burford) Van Dinter and children, Skylyr and Michael of Stratton; Dimitri (Ashley) Berry of Grand Island, Nebraska; Breanna Van Dinter of Stratton; Daymian Van Dinter of Omaha; Alita Van Dinter of Stratton; and Cassidie Van Dinter of Stratton; daughter-in-law, Amanda Tuttle of McCook; and sister, Lucinda (Jim) Thomas of Lowell; Massachusetts Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 P.M. (CT), Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel in McCook with Father Gary Brethour officiating. Cremation will follow services and a memorial service will take place the final week of July at St. Michael Catholic Church in Lowell, Massachusetts.
