Ruby Patricia Keeler

Ruby Patricia Keeler of McCook passed away Friday, May 31, 2019 at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, KS. She was 68 years old and had recently celebrated her birthday with family. Ruby was born to parents, Clyde Charles and Lena Rivers (Hamer) Keeler at Princeton, MO, on May 10, 1951. Ruby was employed at SWATS (Southwest Area Training Services) Workshop and Valmont Manufacturing for many years. She participated in Special Olympics. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Lena Keeler; and older brother, Marvin Keeler of Wichita, KS. Survivors include her brothers, Lonnie Keeler of Arapahoe and Ben Keeler and wife, Gail, of Cheyenne, WY; sister, Ann Swanson of Montgomery, TX; sister-in-law, Monica Keeler of Wichita, KS; special friend and helper, Jeannine Rinehart of McCook; and her many friends in her dorm and at SWATS and Valmont. Memorial service will be Saturday, June 8, 2019, 10:30 a.m. at Herrmann Jones Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jeff Donelan officiating. A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
