Rose E. Geihsler

Rose E. Geihsler age 86 of McCook, passed away at the Community Hospital of McCook on Friday, August 23, 2019. She was born in Overbrook, OK on November 22, 1932 to Earl G. and Elva (Holt) Howard. Rose attend and graduated from high School at Greenville High School in Greenville, OK. On a blind date she met Gerald Geihsler and in October 30, 1953 the couple was united in marriage for over 50 years. Gerald preceded her in death in 2004. Rose enjoyed sightseeing, genealogy, and was an avid reader reading most books 2 or 3 times. She love and doted on the family especially grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; Gerald; daughter: Rosetta "Susie" Jensen; 2 daughters-in-law: Darlene Geihsler; Dixie Geihsler; 2 grandchildren: Christi Knight and Craig Geihsler. Rose is survived by 2 sons: Eugene Geihsler of Hoskins, NE and Kevin and wife Roxann Geihsler of McCook, NE; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and son-in-law John Jensen. Visitation will be held at the Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel on Tuesday August 27, 2019 from 10:00 AM till 7:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 3:00 PM with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be left in Roses name at the Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel in Roses name.
