Ronald Eugene Seeker was born December 31, 1943 in Dayton, Ohio to Kenneth and Dorothy (Wombold) Seeker. He grew up between Lewisburg, Ohio and Verona, Ohio and graduated as the youngest in his class from Verona High School in 1961. He drove a truck for a local lumber yard until he was old enough to get a job working in the factory at Inland/Delphi which was a division of General Motors. He worked there for 31 years, retiring in 1993.

Ron met the young Beverly Krull when she joined her neighbor to attend a play at Verona High School which happened to be his junior class play. They talked on the phone for a few months before they began dating. They were married on September 7, 1963 and recently celebrated 62 years of marriage. To this union one son was born.

Ron and Bev lived on a farm near Lewisburg, Ohio until purchasing a farm and moving to Trenton, Nebraska in 1995 to be near their son and family. They bought a house near Culbertson where they lived for two years before moving back to Trenton. While living at Trenton the couple operated a snack route for a time and then drove a hotshot flatbed coast to coast for a time. During their time traveling they visited many places, one of them being south Texas. They have spent over 20 winters at South Padre Island, Texas which was his happy place.

Ron loved farming and hunting. He enjoyed processing and butchering his own meat. He especially loved going shooting with his grandson. He also loved hunting for morel mushrooms in the spring. He loved growing a garden, especially growing cabbage which he was especially proud of a grand champion 8 pound one he recently raised.
