Rodney Allen Mcnutt

Rodney Allen McNutt, age 61, formerly of McCook, died Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at the Garden of Eden Nursing Home in Philadelphia, PA. Rodney was born on February 16, 1958 at Ogallala, NE to parents, Harold "Herb" and Shirley Kay "Tootie" (Propp) McNutt. He graduated from McCook High School in 1976 where he participated in wrestling. He was employed at the McCook Rubber Hose Plant until 1998, at which time he moved to Lincoln. While in Lincoln, he worked for a tele marketing company. In 2001, Rodney moved to Philadelphia, PA and worked for a company making paper and books. He enjoyed following the Nebraska Huskers. Preceding him in death were his mother, Tootie McNutt; and maternal and paternal grandparents. Survivors include his father, Herb McNutt and stepmother, Kae McNutt of Kearney; brother, Randy McNutt of Kearney; aunt, Patty Cobey, of Corvallis, OR; uncle, Jack Propp, of McCook; numerous family and a host of friends. Memorials may be given in his name and left at Herrmann Jones Funeral Chapel, 607 Norris Ave., McCook, NE 69001 Memorial services will be Monday, January 13, 2020, 11:00 a.m., at Herrmann Jones Funeral Chapel in McCook with Pastor Alisa Parde officiating.
