Robert "Bob" C. Williams, died on Thursday, July 29, 2010 in Cambridge, NE at the age of 81. He was born north of Indianola on the family farm September 6, 1928, to Charles and Bessie Loux. After his mothers death when Bob was 9, he was adopted by his aunt and uncle, Robert and Edith (Loux) Williams. He graduated high school in Curtis. Bob was a carpenter by trade and traveled where the job took him. He had lived in Arizona, California, Utah, Nevada, Colorado and Nebraska. Bob was married to Patricia Ellis and to this union 4 children were born: Tim, Charles, Dan and Tina. Bob later married Doris (Maxwell) Wilson on January 11, 1977 in Las Vegas, NV. Bob and Doris traveled and spent many years in Arizona. They enjoyed going to Flea markets. Bob enjoyed playing cards, scrabble and reading western novels. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers Cecil and his wife Roberta Williams and Jack Loux; a sister: Lillian Loux and a step-daughter: Sandra Foight; nephew Brad Williams. He is survived by his wife Doris of Cambridge; 3 sons: Tim and wife Mary Williams of Cambridge; Charles Williams of Grove, OK; Dan and wife Rosa Williams of Scenic, AZ; daughter; Tina and husband Mike Jackson of Scenic, AZ; 1 step-daughter: Linda Wilson Vancouver, WA; 1 step-son: Jack and wife Margie Wilson of Tampa, Fl; 14 grand children; 30 great grand children. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at 11:30 Am at the First Congregational Church in Cambridge. Tim Burke will be officiating the services. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date. Memorials may be left in Bobs name at the Lockenour-Jones Mortuary to either the American Cancer Fund or the Multiple Sclerosis Fund.
