Robby Carfield

Robby Carfield, 50, of McCook, passed away Wednesday morning, December 9, 2020 at his home in McCook. He was born on November 4, 1970 to Griff and Delores "Dee" (Lehn) Carfield in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Robby was the oldest of four children. He attended school in McCook and Alliance, Nebraska and graduated from Alliance High School. Robby was a jack-of-all-trades and worked for many people in the McCook area over the years. He was a hard worker, but he was happiest when spending time camping and fishing. Rob loved when he was surrounded by his family and his close circle of friends. He was a free-spirt that lived his life on his own terms and loved the people around him deeply. Robby was preceded in death by his father, Griff. Survivors include his daughter, Joshlyn Austin; mother, Delores "Dee" Lehn; step-mother, Deb Carfield; brother, Lonny Carfield and partner, Michelle and his son, Matthew; brother, Jimmy Carfield and wife, Candy and their daughters: Sami, Jordan, and Emma; sister; Kristy Carfield and her daughter, Piper, son, Stephen Kirk and wife, Maggie, great-niece, Odesza; uncle, Dennis Lehn and family of Shelton, NE; aunt, Jeannie Meissner and family of Cozad, NE; and best friends, Tyler Wilcox and Brandon Clark. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. (CT), Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel in McCook with Dave Davidson officiating.
