Patricia Ann Bath

Patricia Ann Bath, age 82 of McCook, Nebraska died at the Cambridge Manor in Cambridge, NE on February 13, 2014. She was born in Denver, Colorado on September 20, 1931, to Clyde and Elizabeth Ida (Downing) Thomas. On June 29, 1951 she was united in marriage to Leonard Bath. Due to Leonards work with the railroad, the couple moved from Colorado, and finally to McCook for a permanent home in 1961. Patricia was active in her church and her community. She served as a Girl Scout leader, served on the Red Willow County Board of Elections, PTA. Patricia enjoyed China painting, needlework: tatting, crocheting, and embroidery. She enjoyed her grandchildren, doing daycare for her daughter. She enjoyed camping and traveling. She was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church and a member of the WML. Patricia was preceded by her parents, step-father: Joseph W. Stanley and a sister-in-law Sandy Parks. She is survived by her husband: Leonard of McCook; 2 daughters: Lori and husband Gary Metzger of Holbrook, NE; Kristy and husband Gerald Novak of McCook; 4 grandchildren: Amanda, Brian, Jeff and Kyle; 3 great-grandchildren: Derek, Dalton, Rheanna Metzger; Sister Barbara and husband Zane Snow of Lakewood, CO. Funeral services will be held on Monday February 17, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church in McCook with Pastor Tom Albertson officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be left in her name to the McCook Humane Society or the Alzheimers research. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2:00 Pm till 6:00 PM; Saturday from 10:00 AM till 6:00 PM and on Sunday: 1:00 PM till 6:00 PM.
