Ora Belle Clouse

Ora Belle Clouse, 99, of Columbia passed away on Friday, October 14, 2016, at her residence. She was born on June 1, 1917, near Danbury, Nebraska, the daughter of Otto and Ina Pearl (Schamel) Tilgner, both of whom preceded her in death.

Ora attended grade school in Missouri Ridge School District #33 and graduated from Danbury High School with the class of 1935. She was married to Ervin A. Clouse on November 6, 1940, and they moved to Los Angeles and obtained work at Lockheed Aircraft in Burbank. She worked there until her retirement in 1980. After retiring, they moved to North Platte, Nebraska, in September of 1987. She and Ervin celebrated their Golden Anniversary in 1990, sponsored by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.

She is survived by several nieces and extended family. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Hannah.

Ora will be buried beside her husband in Bartley Cemetery in Bartley, Nebraska.
