Myrna Lou (England) Musgrave, 80, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Cambridge Manor in Cambridge, Nebraska. Myrna was born April 30, 1936 in Red Willow County to Leonard D. and Ida Winifred (Taylor) England. She graduated from Red Willow High School in 1954. Myrna exceled in music and was offered a college scholarship, but chose to marry and start her family. On May 20,1955 she married Charles Richard Barnett. They later divorced. In February of 1976, Myrna and her children, Deborah Lynn (Barnett) Manning and Richard Dale Barnett, returned to Nebraska to begin a new chapter in her life. Shortly after returning, she was hired as the secretary of Southwest Area Training Service (S.W.A.T.S.). Myrna was promoted to the position of Director, where she worked until her retirement in 1998. Her years at S.W.A.T.S. were very special to her, as were the unique clients that she helped train, protect and, whenever possible, integrate into the workforce. On November 3, 1990, Myrna married Donald Dean Musgrave in McCook, Nebraska. Myrnas family grew immensely on that day, with her becoming an instant grandma. Although they spent time fishing (mostly Dean) and watching after their cattle, their first love was their family. Myrna and Dean spent 20 wonderful years together before he lost his battle with cancer in 2010. Preceding her in death were her husband, Donald Dean Musgrave; parents, Leonard and Winifred England; sister, Donna and husband, Gary Lambert; brother, Dale England, sister- in-laws, Sharon England, Delores and husband, Tom Humphrey; brother-in-law, Roger Musgrave; mother-in-law, Bernadine Musgrave; niece, Laura Lynn England; two nephews, Randy England and Steven Lambert; and son-in-law Douglas Welch. Survivors include her children; daughters, Deborah Manning and husband, Todd of Topeka, Kansas and Teresa Terry Welch of Curtis, Nebraska; sons, Richard Barnett and wife, Kimberly of McCook, Thomas Musgrave and wife, Kristie of Richardson, Texas, Dale Musgrave and wife, Tammy of Ong, Nebraska; brothers Jerry England and wife, Vonzell of Mathis, Texas, Ronald Musgrave and wife, Barbara of Fountain, Colorado, Gary Musgrave and wife, Jonel of Granby, Colorado and sister-in-law, Barbara Musgrave of McCook; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held at the McCook Christian Church on Friday, October 28, 2016 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Clarke Bates. Interment will be in the Indianola Cemetery, Indianola, Nebraska. Visitation will be Thursday, October 27,2016 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Family will greet friends from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM. at Herrmann Jones Funeral Chapel.
