Michael Edward Hoberty

Michael Edward Hoberty, age 51, died on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at his home in Cambridge, Nebraska. He was born in Springfield, OH on April 14, 1960, to Robert Franklin and Virginia Joyce (Corwin) Hoberty. Mike grew up in the Springfield area graduating from Vandelia Butler High School in 1979. After graduation Mike moved to Florida beginning working as carpenter. He joined the Teamster union and worked at the Nuclear Power Plant. He moved back to Ohio in 1989. He moved to Trenton, NE to work. He met and Married Mary Druse on June 30, 2001 in Cambridge. Mike first encountered his first bout with cancer in 1991 and had been in remission till 2008. Mike fought hard and long with his disease. Mike was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Mary of Cambridge: daughters: Jeni and husband John Kinner of Ohio; Schyler; step-son: Cameron Druse; son: Benjamin all at home in Cambridge: sister: Terri Lynn of Ohio; brother: Robert of Florida. Memorial mass will be held on Friday, July 1, 2011 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Cambridge, NE with Father Robert Barnhill officiating. Family will have a private inurnment at a later date. Memorials maybe left in Mikes name to an Educational Fund being established for his children.
