Mary Carolyn Weston

Mary C. Weston age 72 of Indianola, NE passed away at the CHI good Samaritan Health of Kearney, NE, surrounded by her family. She was born in Valley City, North Dakota on February 22, 1947 to Joseph H. and Marcia B. (Godsey) Schwehr. The family moved to Iowa where she attended and graduated from high school at Glenwood, IA in 1965. Mary married Tarry Brace and to this union 2 children were born: Marcia and Nicholas. Mary and her children moved to Colorado in 1978. Where she later met David Weston. Mary was united in marriage to David Weston on August 2, 1986. The couple moved to Indianola, Nebraska in 2010. She was employed for several years in McCook at the Valley Irrigation Company as an electrical assembler. She enjoyed gardening and canning, and was an avid reader. Mary was a very gracious and had a grateful heart. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and Marcia and mother-in-law: Betty Weston. Mary is survived by her husband of 33 years, David Weston of Indianola; daughter: Marcia Brace of Mead, Co; son: Nicholas and wife Becky Brace of Johnstown, CO; 12 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister: Deborah Bloom of Cedar Rapids, IA; 2 brothers: Howard Schwehr of Las Vegas, NV; Chris Schwehr of North Platte, NE. Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday August 31, 2019 at 11:00 at the Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel in McCook, NE. Private family burial be in Colorado. Friends may leave on-line condolences at herrmannfh.com. Memorials may be left in Marys name in lieu of flowers.
