Margaret Ann Hubl passed away at the Good Samaritan St. John's Center in Kearney on July 17, 2016 Born July 10, 1927 at Lawrence NE Born to Albert and Clara (Jirousek) Janda She was raised on a farm east of Lawrence NE and graduated in 1944 from Lawrence High School. On June 14, 1950 she married Henry J Hubl at Deweese, NE and moved to Hitchcock Co. where she spent her married life with Henry on the farm south of Trenton, NE. They retired in Trenton in 1994. Margaret and Henry opened their arms and their Hearts to Dan and Deb, and raised them as their very own , after a tragic accident took the lives of their parents. They joined our family at the age of 3 in February 1969. Margaret loved to quilt! She made many quilts including one for each of her children and grand children. She spent every Monday quilting with the ladies at the United Methodist Church. She also had a love of cooking and baking. kolaches, cinnamon rolls and potato dumplings were just a few of her specialties. Margaret was a member of St James Church and St James Altar Society She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, her parents, her sister Eleanor Petr and her brothers , Theodore, John and Edward Janda. She is survived by her children Larry (Debra) Hubl of Trenton NE, Jean (Stan) Willmschen of Pringle, SD, Betty (Paul) Brennan of Grand Junction, CO, Deborah (Steve) Tomlinson of Bennington, NE and Daniel ( Mary Jo) Hill of Kearney, NE, 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild arriving in December, sister-in-law, Rose Janda of Lawrence, NE, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Rosary will be recited at 2:00 Pm on Wednesday July 20, 2016 at St. James Catholic Church in Trenton. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:30 PM with Father Lothar Gilde. Rosary
