Lisa Mae Burgfeld

Lisa M. Burgfeld, age 51, of Trenton, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019, at the Community Hospital of McCook, NE. She was born on August 16, 1968 in Rockford, Illinois to Roy and Charlene (Roth) Burgfeld. Lisa married James Podoll and to this union three children were born: Jessica, Dustin and Jason. She moved from Wisconsin to Nebraska living in Palisade and later in Trenton. Lisa enjoyed dancing, Chinese food, thrift shopping, cooking and cleaning. Family time with grandchildren made special memories. She is preceded in death by her parents: Roy and Charlene. Lisa is survived by her daughter: Jessica Podoll of Northglenn, CO; 2 sons: Dustin and wife Charlotte Podoll of Grand Island, NE; Jason and wife Chelsey Podoll of Trenton, NE; 8 grandchildren; half-brother: Dereck Smith of Bellevue, WI; half-sister: Kim OKane of Gays Mills, WI; step-father: Henry OKane of Gays Mills, WI. To honor Lisas wishes the family has chosen cremation, with a memorial service to be held at a future date. Friends may leave on-line condolences at herrmannfh.com.
