Leeanna Kay Hart

LeeAnna K. Hart age 64 of McCook passed away Sunday at August 5, 2018, at the Community Hospital of McCook. She was born in Salinas, CA to Theodore and O'Wieta (Tanner) Hart on June 15, 1964. On January 5, 1988, she married Russell Johnson in Salinas, CA. In 1993 the family moved to McCook, NE. Lee Anna and Russell traveled with his job as an over the road truck driver until he retired in 2006. LeeAnna loved to play cards, especially poker. She enjoyed going to the lake, traveling. Without a doubt, her greatest joy has been family and, her grandchildren. She was so proud that she had lived to see not only 9 grandchildren but 7 great-grandchildren. She always let them know they were loved and they were special. LeeAnna spent most days tinkering in her apartment. LeeAnna was known as a person who valued her privacy, so some will be surprised to learn of her endearing qualities such as her sense of humor, wittiness, loyalty, honesty and joys. She was preceded in death by husband: Russell Johnson in 2009; parents: Theodore and OWieta; brothers: Frank and Danial Hart; sister: Victoria Sue Hart Survivors include 2 daughters: Theresa and husband Larry Steinbeck of McCook; Barbara and husband Micheal Fickle of Ozarks, MO; son: Craig Carner of McCook, NE; 9 grandchildren Ashelei Cruz, Stephen Furtado, Laura Pulido, Brenna Carner, Audrey Carner, Craig Carner III, Reid Steinbeck, Spencer Steinbeck and Kayleigh Steinbeck; 7 great grand: Allison Furtado, AnnaMaria Furtado, Samantha Furtado, Sadie Furtado, Jonah Pulido, Marco Pulido and Diego Pulido.; brothers: Russell Hart of McCook; Kenneth of Ohio; sister; Mary Hart of McCook. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Memorial Park Cemetery with Jim Jones presiding. Memorials may be left in her name at Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel.
