Lathan James Long

Lathan James Long, infant son of Brandon and Desirae (Draper) Long of Trenton, was born Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Great Plains Health in North Platte. He entered the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on that same day. Preceding him in death was his maternal and paternal great-grandparents; paternal grandparents, Linda Leydig and Lance Long; aunt, Cassandra Eckhoff; two great-uncles, Jeremy Hunkins and Jason Draper. Lathan is survived by his parents, Brandon and Desirae Long of Trenton; sisters, Kaydence and Jayden Long; maternal grandparents, Troy and Sandy James of McCook; great-grandparents, Gary and Jeanne Hunkins of Trenton, Clyde Draper of Maysville MO, Keith and Diane James of McCook, Lois Leydig of St Francis, KS, Margret Swaim of Clay Center, KS; great-great grandmother, Nina Oakley of Max; numerous aunts, uncles and family. Memorials may be given in his name. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 1, 2018, 11:00 a.m., CST, at the Benkelman Cemetery, Benkelman, NE, with Pastor Kevin Fink officiating.
