Kristin Kay Snare

Kristin Kay Snare, age 51, passed away at Community Hospital in McCook on Jan. 11, 2016. She was born in McCook on March 10, 1964, to Kenneth and Roberta (McNeil) Carter. Kristin attended school and graduated from McCook High School in 1982. She then attended McCook Community College. Kristin has worked for the Southwest Area Training Services for over 30 years. She was the employment director. She retired from SWATS to raise her daughter and her grandchildren. Kristin married Michael Snare on Nov. 30, 2002. She enjoyed her job and was very active with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Kent Carter. Survivors include her husband, Michael Snare; two daughters, Whitney and husband, Jesus Ayala and Serenity Snare; and two grandchildren, Lyric and Kingston Ayala, all of McCook Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016, 2 p.m. at the First Congregational Church of McCook with Pastor Steve Bales. Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery of McCook. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorials be left in Kristin's name.
