Ketra Mattea Vlasin

Ketra Vlasin, age 26, of McCook, passed away at the Community Hospital in McCook on June 8, 2022 due to a motor vehicle accident. Ketra was born in North Platte, Neb., on October 5, 1995, to Mark and Natalie (Elliott) Vlasin. She attended school in Hitchcock County graduating from Trenton High School in 2013. She then attended beauty school at North Platte for two years. Ketra began working for Renalles Classic Hair Design in McCook. She was currently employed at Subway. Ketra was active and enjoyed art, choir, cheerleading, music and wrestling in high school. She enjoyed time spent at the lake at the family cabin with her kids. She attended youth group at the Church of God in Trenton. Ketra enjoyed going to Hockey games with her father, in her younger years. Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Robert Elliott; George (Betty) Vlasin; Kathleen (Gordon) Cameron. She is survived by her three children, Maizie, Zaiylor, and Zander all at home; mother, Natalie (Rob) Maaske of Culbertson; father, Mark (Kimberley) Vlasin of McCook; sisters, Constance Vlasin of Culbertson, Cali Vlasin of McCook; grandparents, Janice Elliott of Culbertson, Keith (Barbara) Maaske of Arapahoe, NE; Nephews, Eric, Korbin, Keaton; Niece, Pheonyx, all of Culbertson. Her family chose cremation and are having a Celebration of Life on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 11:00 am at Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel, McCook, followed by a time of fellowship.
