Kent R. Kelsey

Kent R. Raymond Kelsey passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in McCook where he had been living since 2014. He was 79 years old. Kent was born on June 6, 1938 to parents Raymond and Alma (Foltz) Kelsey at Eureka, California. Kent served his country in the US Army during the Korean War and was later honorably discharged. While living in California, Kent was employed as an orderly in a Behavior Unit and a cab driver. He was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) having been sober for the last three years. He is survived by his three children Bonnie, Lorrie and Michael; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. No local services will be held here. His body will be taken back to Washington State for burial where his family lives. Herrmann Jones Funeral Chapel of McCook is entrusted with the arrangements.
