Kelly Jean Greene

Kelly Jean (Day) Greene left this world to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at her home in Danbury with family and friends around her. She was 46 years old. Kelly was born on December 5, 1973 in Lander, Wyoming to parents, David Geoffrey and Rose Marie (Murray) Day. She graduated from Worland High School with the class of 1992. She participated in cheerleading and choir. In 1995, She moved to McCook. On December 27, 1993 she was united in marriage to Ron Greene. To this union two daughters were born. Kelly was a member of the Assembly of God Church in McCook. When Kelly had free time, she enjoyed her family, fishing at Meadowlark Lake, WY, and family BBQs. Preceding her in death were her father, David Day; brother, Jason Day on February 28, 1996; and cousin, Albert Adkins. She is survived by her mother, Rose Day, of Danbury; daughters, Tiffany Greene of McCook and Michelle Greene of Lincoln; son, Jason Day of Danbury; two brothers, Tom (Jamie) Day of Worland, WY and Justin (Crystal) Day of Lebanon; sisters and caregiver, Tina (Carl) Rae of Danbury and Spring Day of Hastings; cousins that were like siblings, Steve (Lori) Adkins of Woodriver, Alan (Tracy) Adkins of Miller, SD, Brenda Tynsky and Hank Adkins both of Thermopolis, WY; special friends, Eleanor Skiles, Jay Skiles, and Hayes (Amy) Skiles; numerous family and a host of friends. Memorials may be given in her name to be put in a college fund for son, Jason. In keeping with Kellys wishes she was cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
