Kacey Chel Carlson

Kacey Chel Carlson of Trenton passed away Monday, November 13, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney as a result of an automobile accident. She was 32 years old. Kacey was born on January 17, 1985 at Syracuse, Kansas to parents, Robert and Twila (Thompson) Diehl. She attended school in Syracuse and Lakeside Central, Trenton, NE. On June 15, 2002 she was united in marriage to Lanny Douglas Carlson at Swanson Lake. To this union five children were born, Terry, Mackenzie, Trevor, Madysen and Tyson. Kacey was a busy mother and homemaker, but found time to work as a Para and cook at Hitchcock County Schools and clerk at Dollar General Store. Kacey loved her flowers and yard, cooking, and decorating her home. Kaceys giving nature was always apparent to everyone she met. Even after her death, she graciously gave as an organ donor. Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Harold and Lois Thompson and Robert Diehl Thompson; grandparents-in-law, Lanny and Judy Carlson and Boyd and Evelyn Wagner; aunt, Peggy Thompson and Rhoebe Thompson; uncles, Rodney Diehl and Nathan Thompson; cousins, Tyler Brummett and Maxwell Loder. Survivors include her husband, Lanny Carlson of Trenton; children, Terry, Mackenzie, Trevor, Madysen and Tyson of the home; parents, Bob and Twila Diehl of Herndon; brothers, Dustin Diehl and Rob Diehl of Herndon and Sam Gagnon of Bennett, CO; grandmother, Betty Diehl of Hanston, KS; father-in-law, Terry Carlson and wife, Adriana, of Culbertson; mother-in-law, Diana and husband, Kevin Craning, of North Platte; brother-in-law, Chancy Carlson of Culbertson and sister-in-law, Cedar Carlson of Omaha; aunt, Peggy and husband, Greg Fyn, of McCook; and many other loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Memorials may be given in her name. Visitation will be at Herrmann Jones Funeral Home, Trenton, on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 22, 2017, 10:30 a.m. at the Church of God in Trenton with Pastor Jason Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Trenton Cemetery. Herrmann Jones Funeral Home of Trenton is entrusted with arrangements. Visitation
