Joseph Elliott

Joseph Elliott, age 57, of Trenton, passed away at Community Hospital of McCook on Thursday, April 21, 2022. Joseph Michael Elliott was born on June 4, 1964 in Denver, Colorado, the son of Joseph and Donna Elliott. He attended school in Denver. In 2000, Joe moved to Trenton, Nebraska with his two girls. He was the manager of the Soo Paw Motel in Trenton and in 2006, he met Kecia Yost. In 2008, Joe and Kecia were united in marriage. The couple managed the Soo Paw Motel together until 2011, when they purchased their first home in Trenton and started a new chapter of their lives together. Joseph was a person of many trades, including construction and remodeling as well as being a gifted mechanic. He also worked for many years as a cook at the Northshore Marina in Trenton. In his spare time, he enjoyed computer games and above all he loved to golf. Joe was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Elliott. Survivors include his wife Kecia Elliott of Trenton, Nebraska; mother, Donna Elliott of Denver, Colorado; sister, Michelle (Chris) Lujan of Denver, Colorado; brother, Dan (Kristine) Elliott of Lufkin, Texas and brother, Randy Elliott Coburn of Albuquerque, New Mexico; daughters, Angaleena Elliott of Kearney, Nebraska and Jodi Elliott of Salem, Oregon; nephews, Garrett Elliott of Tucson, Arizona and Eamon Lujan of Denver, Colorado; niece, Faith Lujan also of Denver, Colorado; as well as his three grandchildren. Cremation was chosen and graveside services will be held at 1PM, Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at the Trenton Cemetery in Trenton, Nebraska with David Schroeder providing words of comfort.
