John 'Jack' Sidbury

June 10, 1946 — September 13, 2023

John "Jack" Sidbury was born to John Sr. and Maria Sidbury on June 10, 1946 in New York, New York. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. Jack moved from Pennsylvania to Culbertson, Nebraska in 2015. Jack made his living as an over the road truck driver, hauling for many different companies, most recently, Midnite Express out of West Fargo, North Dakota. Jack was a hard worker who loved his family, friends, and his bible. His dogs held a special place in his heart, he always had standard poodles named King Louis and at the time of his passing he leaves King Louis V in the loving care of his family. Jack passed away at the Community Hospital of McCook on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. He was 77 years of age. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his son, John Sidbury of Texas; daughter, Dawn Cutler of New York; grandchildren: Amanda (Brian) Stewart of Connecticut, and Kenny Cutler and Danielle Cutler of New York; great-granddaughter, Madeline Stewart of Connecticut; his partner of 23 years, Marla Bowlin of Culbertson; daughter, Darla Bowlin and Dale Bose of McCook; and grandchildren, Chris Bowlin, Rachel and Dale Bose Jr; as well as his extended family and many friends. Graveside services will be held at the Culbertson Cemetery in Culbertson on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Rick Bradley officiating. Military Honors will be performed at graveside. Friends may leave online condolences at herrmannfh.com. Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
