John Thomas Mcbee

John Thomas "Tom" McBee, age 80, of Trenton, passed away at Community Hospital of McCook, Nebraska on December 16, 2021. He was born on July 19, 1941, to Frank and Lucille (Ball) McBee in McCook. Tom served in the Army National Guard from 1964 - 1969 and was Honorably Discharged. Tom was united in marriage to Janice "Jan" Dodge on July 3, 1968, and she preceded him in death on January 22, 2002. He farmed for a while but then was employed for 30 years at Dayco of McCook as a product stacker. Tom loved taking care of his cats and chickens. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and following Nebraska Sports and the New York Yankees. He was always available to help anyone in need. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Lucille McBee; wife, Janice McBee; an infant son; brother, Ward and Lois McBee; sister-in-law, Karron McBee; and special friend, Betty Robinson. Survivors include his sister, Doris and Leo Smith of Tucson, Arizona; brother, Steve McBee of Kearney, Nebraska; extended family: Laura Parde; Josh and Julie Parde, and Schyler and Autumn Marks; along with many nieces and one nephew. Family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials be addressed to the Trenton Rescue Squad.
