John K. Miller

John K. Miller, age 76, of McCook, passed away at his home in McCook on Monday, April 10, 2023. He was born in McCook at St. Catherines Hospital on September 26, 1946, to Herman and Lenore (Dappen) Miller. John attended Clearview County School through the eighth grade. He graduated from Hayes County High School in 1965. John was wed to Teresa Mae Jones on June 25, 1974. She preceded him in death on October 16, 1997. John loved to be outdoors and spent countless hours hunting and fishing. Over his lifetime, John worked various jobs in the McCook area, but worked the most years for Dayco/Parker Hannifin before he retired. John was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Lenore; wife, Teresa (Jones) Miller; and brother George Miller. He is survived by his brother, Jerry Miller of Hayes Center; sister-in-law, Jean Miller of Hayes Center; as well as a host of other family and friends. Visitation with John's family present to greet friends will be held on Sunday afternoon, April 16, 2023, from 2PM-5PM at Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel in McCook. Funeral Services will be held at 11AM on Monday morning, April 17, 2023, at Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel in McCook with Pastor Jean Miller officiating. Graveside services will follow at 2PM in the Hayes Center Cemetery, Hayes Center, Nebraska. Memorials are suggested to the Community Hospital Heath Foundation of McCook in John's name.
