John Robert Ham

John Robert Ham age 67, died at the El Dorado Manor in Trenton, Nebraska on Wednesday, April 11, 2012. He was born in Frontier County near Curtis, Nebraska on October 5, 1944 to Robert B. and Charlotte May Bill (Mortimore) Ham. John graduated from Curtis High School in 1962. He participated in track. John had a love of animals and entered into veterinary school in Colorado. John married Judith Gerkin, to this union two children were born: Timothy John and Tina Marie. Johns was raised to be a farmer and be around animals. He farmed in Frontier County until his health problems forced him to leave the farm. John has lived in Bartley, North Platte, Trenton Nebraska and Atwood, KS. He has been a resident at the El Dorado Manor in Trenton for the past 8 years. John loved to be out doors outdoors. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. John was preceded death by his father. He is survived by his children: 1daughter: Tina Marie and husband Lynn Pyzer of North Platte; 2 sons: Timothy J. Ham of Hershey, NE; Joey T. LaGuardia of Stockville, NE; 3 grandchidlren: Tel Thane Pyzer; McKenzie Pyzer and Gay Hanna LaGuardia; mother: Charlotte Bill and husband Glenn Haller of Atwood, KS and special care giver and friend: Teri Ziegler of Atwood, KS. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, April 16, 2012 at the Lockenour-Jones Mortuary in Cambridge, Nebraska with Pastor Sherry Sklenar officiating. Interment will be at 2:30 PM in the Arbor Cemetery at Stockville, Nebraska. Visitation will be Saturday, April 14, 2012 from 9:00 AM till 5:00 pm and on Sunday from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM.
