Jimmy 'Jim' Dean Tyan

Jimmy "Jim" D. Tyan age 63 passed away August 18, 2020 at his home North of Trenton. Jim was born in North Platte, NE on May 28, 1957 to Edward Tyan and Lucille (Sis) Allee. Jim was raised by his sister Clarence and Ila Chessmore. He attended school in Sutherland.. In 1979, he was united in marriage to Linda Lindenmuth in North Platte. To this union three daughters were born: Jamie, Twila and Jennifer. Jim has worked for Kugler Fertilizer Company for over 20 years. Jim, in his younger years, participated in wild horse races with his nephews. He enjoyed gardening and taking care of his animals on the farm. He was a current member of the Hitchcock County Fair Board, Eagle Arie of McCook, and a member of the APA. He loved to go camping. Jim loved to attend auctions and was a collector of many things: knives, canes and lots of other things. He was known for his great sense of humor and his T-shirt collection. Jim loved his grandkids and was known to talk or brag about them all the time. He enjoyed attending all of his grandkids sporting events, school activities and 4-H shows. They include; Caleb Talbott, Maleigha Witherspoon, Byanka, Jayda & Arya Wood, Trevan, Eisley, Paycyn & Quinley Rundle He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward, Sis, Clarence and Ila; grandson Alex Talbott; brothers, Leon Tyan, Cork Tyan; sister Debbie Chessmore. Jim is survived by his wife Linda of Trenton; three daughters: Jamie (Caleb) Rundle; Twila Tyan (Ben Wragge); Jennifer (Bryan) Wood all of McCook, NE; nine grandchildren; sisters: Teresa (Jan) Smith of North Platte; Vicki (Dennis) Collins of Lincoln, NE; brothers: Todd (Peggy) Chessmore of McCook; Butch (Peggy) Chessmore of Clay Center, NE. Other sibling; Cathy, Pam, Terrence and Jodell. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Kids Jim loved like his own: Bryson Kool; Lynda Redden, Amber Rooney, Becky Vogt and many more. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2020 from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM at the Herrmann Jones Funeral Chapel in McCook. Funeral Services will be held on August 22, 2020 at 10:30 at Herrmann Jones Funeral Chapel in McCook with Todd Chessmore officiating. Interment will be in the Trenton Cemetery at Trenton, Nebraska.
