Jason Brent Hall

Jason Brent Hall passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017 at his home in Lincoln. He was 45 years old. Jason was born in Kearney, Nebraska to parents, Donald Harlan and Janine Lynee (Fritz) on February 10, 1972. He attended pre-school in Kearney and spent his entire K-12 school experience at Axtell Community Schools graduating in 1987. Jason worked at Bethphage Mission, Pizza Hut, detassled corn, rouged soy beans and delivered newspapers. A large part of his adult years was spent living and working at Integrated Life Choices in Lincoln, Nebraska, where he worked on a farm, delivered meals on wheels, detailed cars, and worked in a sheltered workshop. Jason was preceded in death by his father, Donald Hall on June 17, 2012; maternal grandfather, Delbert Fritz; and paternal grandparents, Floyd and Violet Hall. Survivors include his mother, Janine Hall Pantenburg and husband, Bob Pantenburg of McCook; brother, Justin Hall and wife, Heather, and their three children, Emma, Caleb and Clara of Minden; grandmother, Orian Fritz, of McCook; uncles, Robert Fritz and wife, Carol, of Owatonna, MN and Allan Fritz and wife, Katie, of Manhattan, KS; step-brothers, Tony Pantenburg and wife, Tracy, of North Platte and Jon Pantenburg of McCook; step-sister, Brette and husband, Sean Hankin, of Colby, KS; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends including his special friend and mentor, Wali Mohnammed, of Lincoln. Memorials may be given in his name. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 18, 2017, 10:00 a.m. 7:00 p.m. with family greeting friends from 5:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m. at Herrmann Jones Funeral Chapel in McCook. Funeral service will be Thursday, October 19, 2017, 10:30 a.m. at First Congregational Church in McCook with Pastor Clark Bates officiating. Burial will follow at the Indianola Cemetery.
