Janice Loree Miller

Janice Loree Miller passed away on November 25, 2016 at Lancaster Manor in Lincoln, NE after a courageous and valiant battle with a bone problem called Carpenters Syndrome. Janice was the daughter of Joseph Miller and Edna (Riley) Miller. She was born March 19, 1944 at McCook Nebraska. She attended grade school in rural Hitchcock County and graduated from Culbertson High School in May 1963. After attending McCook Junior College she furthered her education graduating from Lincoln School of Commerce in 1968. Janice spent many years babysitting children in her home and she served as a Volunteer at St. Elizabeth Hospital Information Desk. She was a member of St. Marks Methodist Church in Lincoln. Janice has lived at Lancaster Manor since March, 2009. She is survived by numerous cousins and a multitude of friends and acquaintances. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Edna Miller; sister, Joanne; grandparents; several aunts and uncles and her special cousin Leo Miller. Memorials may be given to the Lancaster Manor of Lincoln or the Congregational Church in Trenton. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Herrmann Jones Funeral Chapel from 3:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m. Friends may go online at www.herrmannfh.com to extend condolences to the family. Graveside services for Janice will be held at the Trenton Cemetery, Trenton, NE on Thursday, December 1, 2016, 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Jean Miller officiating. Burial will be in Trenton Cemetery.
