Janett (Fritz) France

     Janett (Fritz) A. France, age 92, passed away peacefully in Goodyear, AZ, on Monday, March 23, 2026.

     She was born on March 21, 1934, in McCook, NE, to Mathe and Jacob Fritz.

     She is survived by her brother "Ronny" of McCook, NE, nieces, nephews and many grandnieces and nephews.

     She grew up alongside her sisters Elaine, Marilyn and kid brother Ronald on the family farm.

     She received her master's degree in education and began a long teaching career, to include a year overseas in Japan teaching English.

     She moved to AZ in 1960, where she lived in the Phoenix area until her passing. She was a lover of felines and global travel.

     She was a lifelong member of the WELS Lutheran synod, volunteering much of her time and resources to the church.

     She will be missed by the living but welcomed by her new home with the Lord.

     A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Messenger Indian School Mortuary, 7601 E Indian School Rd, Scottsdale, AZ.

     The interment will follow at 11:15 AM at the Paradise Memorial Gardens, 9300 E Shea Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ.
