Jameson Craig Rugg

Jameson Craig Rugg, born January 16, 1963 in Colorado Springs, CO while his dad was stationed at the Air Force Academy, passed away unexpectedly of cardiac arrest, on November 20, 2018. His dad in the Air Force, the family moved frequently. After living in Colorado Springs, the family moved to Air Force bases in Spain, Germany, New Mexico, Texas, and Massachusetts, before settling in Indianola, NE at the age of nine, with his mother and siblings. He lived in Indianola until serving in the Army, then settled in McCook, NE where he has lived for many years. He serviced in the United States Army from October 1985 to November 1988. Preceding him in death were his darling daughter, Brooke Rugg, mother Shirley Miner, father Robert Rugg, step-father Marvin Miner, and brother Ronald Rugg. His passing is mourned by his beloved first-born son Jameson, Mannheim, Germany; his beloved son Craig, McCook, NE; Craigs daughter Isla, his first grandchild. Survivors also include siblings: Gloria McCormick, Jacksonville, FL; Brian Rugg, Lincoln, NE; Jeffrey (Noreen) Miner, Las Vegas, NV; Step-mother Charlotte (Robert) Walker Greeley, CO; siblings: Linette (Matthew) Hickman, Harrington, DE; Leah Rugg, Cheyenne, WY; Laura Rugg, Greeley, CO; Robert (Jona-Lynn) Rugg, Seoul, South Korea; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. The Memorial Service will be in the Herrmann-Jones Funeral Home in McCook, NE on Friday November 30, beginning at 9:30 AM with recitation prayer of the Rosary, followed by the memorial service. Inurnment will be in the Saint Catherines Catholic Cemetery in Indianola, NE. Friends may leave on-line condolences at herrmannfh.com.
