James 'Jim' Roger Lund

James Jim Lund of Trenton, age 61, died at Black Hawk, CO, on March 1, 2014. He was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on June 1, 1952 to John Elmer and Marian Delores (Morris) Lund. In 1955 the family moved to Denver. Jim attended school and graduated from Adams City High School in 1970. On March 3, 1973 he married Joanne Graves in Denver; she preceded him in death on July 19, 2003. Jim work for the Federal Government as a material manager and supervisor at the GSA warehouse in Denver, CO. Upon retirement Jim and Joann moved to Trenton in 2001. On February 19, 2004 Jim married Janice Graves. The couple made their home in Trenton. Jim had recently been working at Wal-Mart as a supervisor. Jims hobbies included woodworking, tinkering, traveling through out the United States. He enjoyed his family times and grandchildren. Jim was preceded in death by his parents; wife; Joann; brother: Willaim and infant sisters: June and Cynthia. He is survived by his wife: Janice of Trenton; children: James Lund II and wife Tina of Palisade; Melissa Cardenas of Trenton; Marian and husband Fred Carpenter of Trenton; step children: Tina and husband Curtis Lee of Graham, WA; Lisa Kershaw of Cambridge; Teresa Nelson and Craig Bain of Graham, WA; Lorie and Allen Hobbs of Lafayette, CO; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren 3 brothers: John and wife Betty Lund of Greeley, CO; Danny and Janis Lund of Broomfield, CO; Tommy Lund of Commerce City, Co; 3 Sisters: Anita and Darald Frakes of Commerce City, CO; Linda and Andy Woods of Commerce City, Co; Rosemary and husband Hank Irmer of Aurora, Co; Barbara Siebe of Beatrice, NE. On February Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of God, with Pastor Tim Roberts. Burial will be in the Trenton Cemetery, Trenton, Nebraska. Memorials may be left in Jims name at the Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel in Trenton. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. till 7:00 p.m.
