Hellen V. Madden

Helen Madden of Indianola, passed away at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on May 4, 2015. She was born in Indianola, Nebraska to Frank and Sylvia Goddard on October 1, 1927. Helen graduated from Imperial High School in 1945. Helen married Frank Silvester to this union 3 children were born: Sonya, Dalas and Peggy. After the death of Frank, Helen married Clarence "Stub" Madden in 1966. Helen was a member of the St. Catherine's Catholic Church of Indianola. She enjoyed reading, and her cat Jewel. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Frank and "Stub", sister: Sonya Schleeman and a step brother; Jim Madden. She is survived by her daughter Peggy Garcia of McCook; son Dalas and wife Tina Silvester of Big Fork, MT; 5 step-children: Mike Madden of Kearney; John and wife Mary Ellen of Prescott AZ; Kay DeZonia and husband Matt of Loveland, CO; Julie and husband Pat Brening of Culbertson, NE; Linda Madden of Washougal, WA; 6 grandchildren; 9 gereat-grandchildren; 8 step grandchildren; 8 great step grandchildren. Rosary will be recited Sunday, May 10, 2015 at the Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel in McCook. Mass of Christian Burial will be in the St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Indianola, NE Inurnment will be in the St. Catherine's Cemetery of Indianola. Memorial may be left in Helen's name to the St. CAtherine's Cathol;ic Church.
