Gerald Eugene Kennedy

Gerald Eugene Kennedy was born to Howard J. and Wanda J. (Carter) Kennedy on August 26, 1966 in McCook, Nebraska. He attended school in McCook and graduated with the McCook High School class of 1984. Gerald lived his entire life in McCook and made a living as a truck driver. Gerald passed away early Saturday morning, June 8 2024 at the Bryan West Medical Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was 57 years of age. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Wanda; brother, Dennis Kennedy; and grandparents, Kenneth and Alice Carter and Charles and Caroline Kennedy. Survivors include his sisters, Jennifer (Chadd) Beavers of McCook and Angela (Scott) Lee of Denver, Colorado; and nephews: Jason (Chastity) Beavers of McCook, Adam Beavers of McCook and Carter Kennedy of Iowa. Cremation was chosen and services are scheduled for 11:00 AM on Friday morning, June 21, 2024 at Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel in McCook. Burial in the Fairview Cemetery of Cambridge, Nebraska will follow services. Memorials are suggested to the family of Gerald Kennedy for future designation.
