Gary Leon Lucas

Gary Leon Lucas, age 76, of McCook, passed away Friday, February 14, 2020 at Bryan East Hospital in Lincoln. He was born February 20, 1943 in Denver, CO to Leon and Marilene (McKay) Lucas. He is survived by his wife, Ruth, of McCook; son, Thomas and wife, Gillian of Bailey, CO; son, Tracy and wife, Amy, of Des Moines, IA; daughter, Abbey Bruner and husband, John, of Sioux Falls, SD; eight grandchildren, Ryan Lucas and wife, Savannah, Nick Lucas, Dylan Bruner, Jack Lucas, Blake Bruner, Hank Lucas, Evelyn Lucas and Sean Lucas; and two great-grandchildren, Olivia Lucas and Bentley Lucas. Celebration of Life will be Saturday, February 22, 2020, 3:00 p.m. at McCook Christian Church with Terry McCorkle officiating. A private family inurnment will be at a later date.
