On Wednesday April 1, 2020 Gareld "Gary" Eugene Sisson, loving husband and father of three sons passed away at the age of 84 at his home in Greeley, CO.

Gary was born in Cambridge Nebraska on March 13, 1936 to Leslie Robert and Lila Faye (Richard) Sisson. He grew up on different farms south of Cambridge Nebraska and graduated from Cambridge high school in 1953. In August of 1956 he married Anita Smith in McCook Neb. In September of 1956 they moved to Sterling CO where Gary started his career as a maintenance man for the state of Colorado, He worked for the state for 39 years before retiring as a Senior Foreman.

Gary liked hunting, fishing and taking his 3 sons and Anita camping. He also had a lifelong passion for cars, motorcycles and traveling. He and Anita traveled by motorcycle through different parts of the country, they were also able to take a dream trip to Europe. In later years they bought a motor home and wintered in Arizona.

Gary is survived by his wife of 63 years Anita, his three sons Rick and wife Jeannie, Dan and wife Jeanette, Jim and wife Elizabeth, 2 granddaughters, 5 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Rodney.

Gary a direct burial will take place in the Bartley Cemetery in Bartley Nebraska. Friends may leave online condolences at lockenourfh.com. Memorials may be left in Garys name at the Lockenour-=Jones Mortuary in Cambridge. A celebration of life services will be held at a later date in Greeley, CO. Lockenour-Jones Mortuary entrusted with arrangements.
