Gail Lynn Hubbert

Gail L. Hubbert was born in Nebraska City, Nebraska on September 11, 1965. Her family moved to McCook area when she was six. At the age of seven she joined the Jerry and Murietta Proud family. Gail went to school in Bartley and graduated Bartley High School in 1984. Gail was involved in 4 H and loved to ride horses. She liked to play volleyball, plant flowers, and vegetable gardens and do word search puzzles. Family was very important to her. Gail worked at many rest homes in the area and was much loved by the residents and their families. She was employed for 21 years as a waitress at the Rocket Inn in Indianola, Nebraska. In 1983, she was married to Dale Blackman and to this union a son Kyle was born. On February 21, 1990, she was married to Kenneth Hubbert in McCook, Nebraska, to this union two children were born, Shelby Lynn and Morgan Glen. Gail was preceded in death by her grand parents: Roy and Margaret Hayes and Glen and Vesta Proud; her mother-in-law Helen Uerling Hubbert. She is survived by her husband: Kenneth; daughter Shelby; 2 sons: Kyle and Morgan All of Indianola, Nebraska; parents: Jerry and Murietta Proud of Bartley, Nebraska; 3 brothers: Kurt and wife Michelle; Kent and wife Jenifer; Kris and wife Melissa Proud; sister: Karen and husband Tom Mohr; brother Brian Robley and sisters-in-law: Elice Hubbert and Penny and husband Gary Mixon.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at 10:30 AM at the St. Catherines Catholic Church, with Father Tom Meguire officiating. Interment will be in the IndianolaCityCemetery. Memorials may be left to the Indianola Ambulance. Visitation will be held at the Mortuary from noon till 9:00 PM and at the church prior to mass.
