Evelyn 'Bobbie' Kasson passed away at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Saturday August 1, 2015

She was born in Wilsonville, NE on August 29 1927 to Thelma Pearl and Ami Meyers. She was born on the family farm northeast of Wilsonville Bobbie was the youngest child of 3. She has an older sister Helen Virginia Starrett of Lawrence Ks., a brother Robert Eugene Meyers. Bobbie, as she was known to most, lived in the Wilsonville area most of her life. She married Curtis Kasson August 9, 1944 in Wilsonville. They lived south of town on a farm,their entire married life,with the exception of during retirement days spending winters in Texas. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Eastern Star and numerous ladies clubs. Bobbie taught piano and enjoyed music all her life. She was a board member of the Norton Hospital in Norton, KS. She enjoyed puzzles, keeping the farm books and her yard work. Survivors include son: Michael J Kasson of Atlanta, GA; sister Helen Starrett of Lawrence, KS :daughter-in-law: Sandi Kasson of Wilsonville, NE; 3 grandchildren: Matthew Kasson; Melissa Kasson Uehlin;Brandi Clark Kasson, 7great grandchildren 2 great great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Curtis; 2 children: James Wynn, Dennis Clark Kasson and brother Robert Eugene Meyers. Funeral Services will be held Wilsonville Baptist-Christian Church on Wednesday August 7,2015 at 2 pm. with Keith Theobald officiating. Interment will be in the Wilsonville Cemetery.
