Esther Nowka

Esther Propp Nowka died June 7, 2016 at the age of 96 at Emerald Court Assisted Living in Scottsbluff,Nebraska where she resided the last six years. Esther was born to Henry and Anna Propp on January 22, 1920 in Culbertson, Nebraska and graduatedfrom Culbertson High School in 1938. She married Robert Nowka on February 22, 1947. Survivors include her daughter, Carol Adams (Tim) of Scottsbluff and her son Dennis Nowka (Jane) of Denver. Five grandchildren, Matthew Nowka, (Kyla), Aaron Adams, Anna Adams, Andrew Nowka, and Abraham Adams (Becky). Nine great grandchildren, Brianna, Trinity, Hadley, Vaughn, Finn, Beck,Cooper, Cash and Cody. Esther was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, eight brothers, and two sisters. Funeral services will be held June 10, 2016 at 10:30am in Culbertson, Nebraska at Bethel Missionary Church. Burial in Culbertson Cemetery immediately following.
