Donald Lee Sanger

Donald Lee Sanger, age 70, of Trenton passed away at the El Dorado Manor in Trenton on Friday, November 17, 2017. He was born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska on December 30, 1946 to Charles and Mary (Birdie) Sanger. Don grew up in Morrill, NE and graduated from High School in 1964. Don enlisted in the US Army serving in Germany and was later honorably discharged. Upon his return, Don farmed near Morrill before moving to Huntley, WY. There he met and married Diane David, the couple were married in 1970. She preceded him in death in September 2004. During his life, Don worked as a ranch hand in various locations in Morrell and later moving to Bayard, NE. He also worked for the Valley Feed Lot before retiring in 2009. He enjoyed raising Angus cattle. Don moved to Trenton in 2013, to be near family. Don was preceded in death by his wife, Diane; parents, Charles and Mary Sanger; brothers, Leonard, Charles, Jr., and Dewane; and sisters, Patty, Romona, Rosemary and Bonnie. Don is survived by his daughter, Rebecca and husband, Mike Christofferson, of Trenton; son, Charles Sanger of Kalispell, MT ; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; sisters, Frieda, Joyce, Gladys and Shirley.
